How it works

Six stages, one app, one link for the client. The order below is the order a job actually happens in.

Enquiry

They fill the job in for you. Your own enquiry form. What comes back becomes the job, so nothing gets retyped.

Put the form on your own website, or send the link. When someone fills it in, the enquiry lands in your inbox in Cinella with the project, the date they have in mind, the budget and their message. Two taps make it a client and a shoot. Nothing is retyped.

Agreement

Contract and questionnaire on one link. Agreed and confirmed before the day, with no account for them to create.

The working terms and the questionnaire go out on the client's link. They read the terms and agree with a typed name; the answers to the questionnaire land on the shoot. If you change the terms later, the version they agreed is kept as agreed.

Shoot day

Run of day, kit, shots, Set Mode. The day laid out once. Set Mode is the one screen you look at with cold hands.

A call time and a wrap time build the run of day. Kit and shots sit on the same shoot. On the day, Set Mode on your phone shows the clock, what is next and who to call, and nothing else.

Review

Notes on the timecode, rounds counted. Watermarked review copy. Every note pinned to the second. The fourth version is visibly the fourth.

Upload a cut and it is watermarked with your name and capped at 1080p. The client watches it on their link, leaves notes pinned to the timecode, and sends them as one round. Rounds are counted and both of you can see the count.

Delivery

Approved in one tap, on the same link. Your client sees what was approved and when, next to the invoice. No new link, no “can you resend it”.

When the client approves, the approval and the date sit on their page next to the invoice. The final film is not delivered through Cinella: you send the master however you send it now, and the page says so.

Invoice

Built from what was agreed, so the number is not a negotiation. You see the day they open it, and the polite reminder is already written. One tap sends it.

The invoice is built from the agreed terms and the deposit already recorded. Your client sees it on their link with your bank details and pays you by bank transfer. You see the day they open it. If it goes quiet, the reminder is already written and one tap sends it.
