These are the terms for using Cinella. We've kept them in plain English on purpose. By creating an account you agree to them. Questions: hello@cinella.app.
Cinella is web software that helps small video crews plan and run production days: call sheets, schedules, shot and kit lists, client portals and invoices. We work hard to keep it fast and available, but like all software it's provided "as is" and we can't promise it will never have a wobble.
Keep your sign-in details safe; you're responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 and using Cinella for business purposes.
Everything you create in Cinella is yours. You can export it all as JSON at any time, including after your subscription ends (read-only accounts keep viewing and export rights). We only process your data to run the service - see the Privacy Policy.
Portal links are secured by long unguessable tokens rather than passwords, so your clients don't need accounts. Treat portal links like the semi-private documents they are: anyone you give a link to can view that shoot's client-facing details and send you files. You're responsible for what you share through your portals.
Don't use Cinella to break the law, infringe others' rights, send spam, or store malicious files. We may suspend accounts doing that. Storage is subject to fair use appropriate to a small production company.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is capped at the amount you've paid us in the twelve months before a claim. We're not liable for indirect losses (lost profits, lost bookings and the like). Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited.
You can close your account whenever you like. If we ever discontinue Cinella, we'll give you at least 90 days' notice and keep export working throughout. We may update these terms; meaningful changes will be flagged by email or in the app first.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes belong to the courts there.
